As made:
Dissolve cornstarch in milk and heat. Stir constantly to prevent a skin from forming.
Beat eggs yolks and sugar. Add to milk.
Continue to cook and stir until mixture coats the back of a spoon.
Cool for several hours.
Beat egg whites. Add to milk mixture.
Add salt and vanilla paste.
Stir in whipping cream.
Pour into ice cream machine.
Freeze once done.
